To secure rapid osseointegration and long-term stability, MegaGen conducts a research on various types of implant surfaces. Even if the outter surface looks similar, it will be assured that the MegaGen' fixture will provide the rapid and stable osseointegration through own research & development effort.

| [MegaGen Surface Treatment] |
|
Regard on all types of surface treatment methods, the research & development is progressed by keeping close coorperation with research teams of Universities. To exclude any possible small errors, several safety tests are performed, and the company currently manufactures and sells the safety certified RBM Surface products from all aspects.
The development of implant surface of MegaGen will be made continuously. |

RBM (Resorbable Blasting Media) |
|
By applying the designated condition and pressure, the self analyzed and certified Ca-P powder is blasted to produce the most preferred abrasiveness. Since the Ca-P powder is all removed by weak acid treatment, the side effects that may be caused by residual powder was removed. |

SLA (sandblasted large grit and acid-etched) |
|
It is an implant surface manufactured by using an own reprocessed Ca-P powder before sandblasting and treating with strong acids as like Hydrochloric acid(HCl) or Hydrosulfuric acid(H2SO4) to produce finer surface structure. |

Anodized Surface |
|
It is the implant surface that the thickness of titanium oxide membrane is artificially adjusted by using an anodization to provide porosity of it. MegaGen research team assigned several conditions to enable rapid reaction with in-vitro calcium phosphate with appropriate pore size. |
