To minimize screw loosening phenomenon due to repeated biting force, the implant Hex tolerance was controlled less than 5㎛, and precise processing was conducted for Hex where the connection of Fixture & Prosthesis is made to control the rotational angle of between two structures to be within 3˚

The below Fatigue test result indicates the excellency of MegaGen products in removal torque value before and after the the fatigue test that was conducted for screws produced from MegaGen, national brand-A, Imported brand T and S under the test condition of 32Ncm in 250N of biting force for 2 million rounds of fatigue tests.

After completing the machine-chemical check up on the surface of self designed and manufactured implant, the degree of osseointegration and reaction is tested by animal experiments.
The below pictures demonstrate the ossoeointegration pattern of posted implants in rabbit femur, which already revealed to show excellent ossoeointegration reaction in 3 week samples.
Removal torque test after animal implantation
After posting an implant, the result of removal torque test at 3rd, 5th, and 12th week is listed as below.
Compared to Machined Type Control Group, the SSA Type experiment group revealed to show rapid torque removal increase due to new bone formation during 5∼12th week.

In the measurement of surface roughness, the blasted surface (Group II) revealed the most rough surface pattern, and revealed to show statistical significance compared to Machined surface (Control) and double etched surface (Group I)

The observation result of reviewing cell attachment pattern on each surface and propagation rate in all of experiment groups after 24hours of incubation revealed to show complete distribution of globular shaped cells with many minute villus.

The gene expression result which estimated the cell activity1, 4, and 7 days after the incubation revealed the statistical significance of 7th day blasted surface group (G II) compared to machined surface group (Control), and the most rapid osteoblast differentiation was stimulated in blasted surface group.
     
The excellent surface treatment technology is advancing the time for loading.

The picture is the panoramic radiographic picture which illustrates the implantation of 3 fixtures in Up, down, right, left directions for total 12 fixtures by using Flapless surgery. Type III bone was used with excellent initial fixation level.

It is the RBM surface fixture of Exfeel implant system. 2 months have been passed after the Flapless surgery. Considering the bone ingrowth condition inbetween Fixture thread, it is judged that there must has been an enough osseointegration which can resist loading.

The radiographic picture after installing a provisional restoration. All functions in up, down, right and left sides were recovered 2.5months after posting the implant.

By using the provisional restoration for about 1 month, its function and esthetic aspect is confirmed, and permanent prosthesis was manufactured for the loading. Although One stage surgical approach and early loading have been applied, the upper and lower jaw molars illustrated excellent ridge condition.
 
In all cases, the above surgery or prosthesis is not possible. But if normal surgery was conducted with good initial fixation results it will be sured to achieve a stable and reliable level of osseointegration without taking risk or heroic diagnosis for early loading. It is the fundamental idea of MegaGen on the implant surface treatment.
